Testimonials
Here are testimonials from hunters:
"My first morning, I saw two 4 pointers and a 6-pointer with a broken rack. That afternoon, I saw a doe. I had good shots on all of them (if the bucks would have been bigger). Unfortunately, the doe saw me first.
The next morning, I had two does come across. A little later, I saw a huge 10-pointer approximately 23 yards from me, but he saw me first and did not stick around. A little while later, I saw a nice 4-pointer cross within 20 yards and, a little later, a spike came out. A couple of does also came out. A few minutes after the 4-pointer disappeared, a beautiful 8-pointer came out. I hit it at 30 yards with my 40-pound bow! I don't know what was more exciting, knowing I hit him or locating him after tracking him for over an hour!!
This is the first deer I have ever shot and an experience that I will never forget!
Anna Aish"
Note: Anna bought her first bow two weeks prior to bow hunting this year, only practiced a few times and had only gone hunting a couple times. Her buck was rough-scored at 133 4/8ths (it netted 130 7/8s) Boone & Crockett. Not bad for her first deer!!
"Hey Brian, just a quick note to let you know we had a great 4 days of hunting! The weather wasn't great the last 2 days but I saw 11 different bucks while on stand and Jason saw 6 or 7. We both passed up 8 pointers and I saw 2 shooters, getting great video of one."
"Please, please keep in touch and would love updates on the hunting ESPECIALLY the pics of those big bucks!!!!
Take Care!"

"Brian,
First let me thank you for the opportunity to hunt your property! Jason and I had a great time. Your lodging was absolutely first class! I felt like I was at home inside, with the great outdoors right out the window. I personally love being able to walk from the cottage to my hunting blind for the close spots or taking the truck or ATV to the more distance spots. The flat screen TV, fireplace, DVD player and washer/dryer were great as were the outside hot tub, picnic tables and fire pit. You can forget sleeping in some painted pole barn with steel walls and bunk beds that other outfitters have!
As for the deer hunting, it was all we expected and more! Being the first year of QDM, we knew the age structure of the deer on your land would tend to be a bit young and it was. The majority of the bucks we saw were 1 1/2 years old, but the pics that you have and a couple of the deer we saw on stand, show that there are several 150+ inch class bucks there right now!! A highly selective harvest of bucks in the 3 1/2 to 5 1/2 year old class will create an unbelievable hunting haven. Combine that with a buck to doe ratio in the 2:1 range, and you've got the recipe for some fantastic bowhunting. I am very, very excited about the potential your land and deer herd has."
Thanks again!

"Hi Brian,
Just a note to say thank you for the wonderful hunting experience. You sure knew where to put me to see deer. During my 2-day hunt, I observed more deer than I have seen all season!! And I hunted a lot!! (he actually hunted bow, rifle AND muzzle-loader this year so he means it when he says, "a lot!!")
Of the deer I observed, I drew my bow on one monster buck (DEFINITELY OVER 140-CLASS)" "it was the biggest buck I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY BOW SIGHT!! (and I have been actively hunting for 21 years!!) Some lucky hunter will get a chance next year, but I know you have a lot more big bucks than just him.
Brian, for a late season hunt like this (December 19th & 20th), I was prepared to see no antlers at all-thanks for giving me the opportunity to have a big buck in bow range!
Take care and see you next year!!
Sincerely,
Dr. Steve B.

"Hello Brian,
I am writing to thank you for a wonderful hunting experience. I want you to know that all your work in giving us the wind directions and which tree stands would be the best to hunt out of, is much appreciated! It was enjoyable seeing deer everyday. The quality of your deer is also parimount. Most of your 2 1/2 year-old deer are eight points or more with long tines. 3/4 of the deer I saw were bucks and these deer were not pressured! As long as you were still, they would walk by. I've never seen anything like it before. My son Brian had all he could do to keep his deer decoy standing." "He saw some monsters!" "I was leaving my morning stand to look at another food plot, when a monster 10-pointer came out to the logging road I was on. After 10 minutes, I almost got a shot at him. He walked back into where he came out from... Very exciting!!!
Your trail cameras in front of the baits, are key as well. It was nice to see the quality of deer that were in the areas we were hunting daily. The deer tracks that were in the food plots and the access roads were incredible! (keep up the good work on the food plots!)
It was enjoyable to hunt different food plots different days, for a change of scenery. I can only see more and more deer holding "in" your property , with all the food plots and sanctuary for bedding... it's a DEER HAVEN!!!
The facilities were top notch. The lodge was spacious." "We had a great view of the lake, hot tub, fire place and fire pit" "The double-wide garage was also key for our hunting equipment, bows, etc."
"Brian, thanks again for all your work" and "making our hunting trip as enjoyable as it could be... it was GREAT and very much appreciated!!"

"Hi Brian and Anna,
I would like to to take this time to thank you for a great week of hunting. The lodge you put us in was very comfortable, clean and plenty of room for all of us (9 guys). The ability to walk to several of your stands from the lodge was key. As for the hunt, everyone in my party saw shooter bucks all week and some saw some real giants on your property! As you know, I arrowed my 9-pointer on my first evening hunt (he actually arrowed it and it dropped 7 yards from where he shot it!! Nice shot!!). Your knowledge of your property and stand locations for the right wind were major factors in harvesting my buck! Huntnland Wisconsin has a bright future! Great job, thanks again and hope to see you soon!"

"Coming from Michigan to hunt big bucks in Wisconsin with Brian turned out to meet all of my expectations." "He has a wide variety of ground cover that provides great habitat for the many Wisconsin whitetails that roam his area. Congratulations Brian, on providing your clients with all they could ask for: great hosts, wonderful accomodations, and most of all, a very good chance at seeing and harvesting a trophy whitetail! Keep up the good work and thanks for a very rewarding experience!"

"Brian,
This year I hunted in Illinois, Wisconsin and MichiganI found the hunting at Serenity Lake (Huntnland Wisconsin) the best and most rewarding of all!! Brian has the best potential for a big buck out of all the areas I have hunted this year! A variety of terrain, established food plots, and proven, recorded trial-cam photos assure the hunter of a great opportunity at a trophy buck!" "I am already loooking forward to repeating my memorable hunt next year!""Kudos to you, Brian, for sending me the nice photographs and framed photo of my Wisconsin 8-pointer!! I am looking forward to seeing you again next fall!!"

"Hey Guys,
The combination of your hunting and lodging was awesome! If you guys could have controlled the weather (mid-60's and winds up to 35 mph!), I feel you would have had everything covered. I am confident that your property and hard work will continue to produce great whitetails year after year. On the last afternoon of our hunt, I sat over a soybean food plot, and started seeing deer before 2 o'clock. I saw both bucks and does before a shooter finally stepped out an hour before sunset. Being able to find and bring home the 130-class 8-pointer I then shot would have made this the perfect trip. All of the deer I observed during our trip acted as if they had no cares in the world, which is a tribute to the low pressure these deer are under.
Thanks for everything, we had a great time! We'll see you next year!"

"Ok, here's the deal. If you are looking for a hunting outfitter who puts 110% into whitetail hunting you have found it. In my 25 years of hunting and numerous attempts with other deer hunting outfits, I have never seen involvement like this. Tree stand location, wind direction, low-pressure and scent control are Brian's claim to fame. He puts them all together during every single hunt to ensure you the greatest chance at a mature buck. During my stay I saw three shooters and countless imature bucks. Hats off to you Bri, you run an outstanding operation and have one hell of a property!!
Thanks again and we'll see you next year!

The only thing to say about this guy is he knows his scrapes!! He had a big 8-pointer surprise him the day before, but the surprise today was for this buck!! Good job Ron!! We earned the shots of Crown Royal didn't we!! An 18-inch spread and 3-inches outside the ears!!

Jay missed an opportunity on a big 10-pointer but he didn't let this beautiful 9-pointer get away!! Was it worth the trip all the way from Massachusetts Jay?

This buck was taken the day before this party was to begin their hunt. Two of the hunters arrived a day early and were planning on relaxing until the rest of their party flew in from Massachusetts. But they got excited and decided to go in a day early and John took this fella before he officially began his hunt!! All 8 members of their party either had an opportunity to shoot a big buck or did during their hunt!
This was our first hunt of the season and resulted in this nice 3 1/2 year-old, 9-point buck, shot on September 22nd, at approximately 6:00pm!! Not bad for temperatures that averaged in the 80's!!

Hey Brian and Anna,
You couldn't have put together a more beautiful spread than what you have. The woods, the food plots, the ponds, it's all there! Awsome hunting! The 9-point buck that I shot with my bow says it all. During the 4-day hunt, I saw deer every time out. One morning, I thought I was in a hunting video, just completely surrounded by deer all morning long! Having the opportunity to shoot several bucks, including a 150-class 8-pointer at 13 yards made this a hunt that will be hard to top... even though I will try to next year at your place!! Your selection of stands to hunt each day was right on!!

Recent Photos 2009!

In spite of the Moultrie I-40 Infrared cameras breaking down often (note to potential buyers!!), we have been able to get the following photos. This guy was photographed July 10th (Imagine the growth he has left!!)

Though it doesn't show it, this guy's G4 had 2 nubs at the end indicating it becoming a very nice 10-pointer (and the photo was taken July 24th-still had well over 30% growth left!!)

Wow!! Look at the rack on this guy (below left)!!

This guy was still in velvet on August 4th!! (he still had 20% growth left!!)

One of our hunters stated that when it got light out, he was in a plot that never had less than 12 deer in it at any one time for over an hour!!

The one on the left is either that beautiful 2 1/2 year-old 10-pointer from last year (which now makes him a 3 1/2 year-old, or one of his off-spring!! And, look at the racks on these two!! We are getting these two on the same plot every night!!

Hmmm... he looks familiar!!

Look how fat these does are!! From the photo with the does and above are all new 2009 photos!! And remember, none of the bucks on the 2008 Photo Page were shot last year that we are aware of which means they are also all still potential bucks!!
One additional testimonial from one of our hunters that could only be written by a writer!!
Serenity. The word conjures up images of smooth waters, a breeze through the pines, and a certain joy in being undisturbed in a place where you feel a sense of comfort and tranquility. I recently discovered such a place. It is tucked away not far from the town of Hatfield Wisconsin. My host, Brian Aish, peaked my interest in a hunt there at Serenity Lake. Here is a place where your hunt is fair chase. No high fences, no exotics. Just lots and lots of deer, and a good number of them that are true trophy class. All Brian had to do was show me recent pictures from the numerous trail cams stationed around his impeccably managed tract of over 500 acres. The rules were simple. Eight points or better with a rack visibly wider than the span of the ears. I was really stoked to get out in the woods. Although a nice buck had been on my land earlier in the year, like many hunters, I was not seeing much once gun season opened. Tracks seemed to vanish, corn was still up all over the place, and like many, I was griping about the paucity of deer.
Brian heard my pain, and he had just the cure! We met in the pre-dawn darkness and eyed some pictures taken just the day before. The rules of the hunt were explained, and I was rarin’ to go. As I made my way into the woods, I was seeing deer trails that looked like highways! I could not take a step anywhere and not see deer sign. I began to wonder why this tract of land supported so many deer. Through the next few days, it became obvous. Quality deer management is the practice here. Large food plots are interspersed with some gnarly thickets, and ample water supply, and a sanctuary area where hunters are not allowed to tread. A keyed gate and borders that are stringently patrolled guarantee you are going to be on your own. Alone that is except for deer! Even before it was light enough to shoot, I was seeing deer moving into the food plot. I had requested some bait be scattered to bring deer into bow range, and was nicely accomodated. Brian will set you up any way you want. You can set your own stand, or utilze one of his ladder stands, box blinds, or camo tents. Whatever way you choose, you will experience the excitement of being in prime trophy country. You might as well plan on spending long hours in the blind, because at any time of day, the trophy of a lifetime is likely to poke its massive head out of the thick stuff. This is deer hunting the way it was meant to be.
While I am fortunate enough to live nearby in this slice of God’s country, accomodations in the form of cottages on the property are there for you and your group. No deer camp shacks here. Each cottage is situated in a picturesque setting on the shores of Serenity Lake.. Take a look at them on the internet. Hot tubs, full kitchens, fireplaces…..these are way beyond what you might expect in a northwoods cabin. In fact, there is year round activity here as families enjoy the fishing, swimming, biking, and other vacation activities. In winter, one can strap on the cross country skis, snowmobile, ice fish, or just kick back in the cozy cottages.
Next year, I plan to slip back into this deer mecca early in the season and hunt from my own tree stand. This is how deer hunting should be. If you are tired of dodging a horde of blaze orange and not seeing many deer, leave that scene and come to where all those “missing” deer seem to have made their permanent home, the Cottages at Serentiy Lake.
